I first wrote the lyrics to this song in 2007 for my lovely wife 

Michelle who I married in 2006. Its a song dedicated to those 

people  who thought that life had passed them by. It's a love 

story, about being sad and lonely, almost giving up on love, 

then, with the help and grace of God, meeting and marrying 

my soulmate. 

I asked my stepson Nicholas Gentile to help me put music to the 

lyrics. In 2011 Peter Marshall orchestrated the melody and 

recorded "You dropped out of heaven" with his wife, singer, 

Pauline Timms.
